In earlier times, driving a car used to be tough and not getting a stiff back was almost impossible. Driving any vehicle used to be very much equivalent to an experience in carriages that were horse-drawn. That is, it used to be bumpy, uncomfortable as well as noisy. Therefore, to save people from uneven surfaces Volkswagen has a new suspension system in it. Due to friction, a car can easily be affected in terms of acceleration, working of brakes, ride smoothly as well as corner. Therefore, there is always a possibility of road shock in it. To save the passengers as well as driver of car from these road shocks, Volkswagen has mandatory suspension system in it. One of these suspension components is Volkswagen Control Arm.

This component is also known as A-arm or wishbone. If observed, a Volkswagen Control Arm is only a pivot containing flat bar. These pivots are located on each side of these control arms. Both pivot arms are connected to car other suspension components. These parts are steering system, drive wheels, and frame as well as suspension system. These arms reside on drive wheel’s centre hub. In this way, Volkswagen Control Arm acts as a spring as well as shock absorbers base. Arm’s long end is attached with steering link, whereas the short one stays in contact of control arm. If this arm becomes defective due to any reason then car makes strange squeaking noises and has an uneven steering too. Due to its failure, even tire wears out.
